As a creative communicator, has a heart for people and a passion to share the gospel through many types of avenues. He is a loves writing songs for the church and found a passion for music and expression as a young-boy in services. Growing up as a Pastor’s Kid, he has developed a love for the presence of God in the church. Later, he discovered the importance of valuing God’s presence outside of Sunday morning services.
He learned how to value people by the example set by his parents as they cared for the people that crossed their path. This allowed him to see how to look past people’s history and see them for who they were created to be.
His passion is studying what it means to have a heart of worship. He explained, “While reading Romans 12, I have been challenged to see worship as more than just singing and see it as a lifestyle. That changed my thinking entirely about what it means to be a Christ-follower and not a seasonal Christian.”
“Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies? I encourage you to surrender yourselves to God to be his sacred, living sacrifices. And live in holiness, experiencing all that delights his heart. For this becomes your genuine expression of worship.” Romans 12:1
